Stripe pays out daily once your account is verified. Funds from card payments are held in your Stripe balance for a short rolling period, then transferred to your UK bank automatically.
The standard timings
- New chefs: the first payout typically lands 7–14 days after your first sale, while Stripe completes its initial review.
- Established accounts: daily payouts on a 2-business-day rolling schedule. An order placed today usually pays out two working days later.
What bank holidays do
Stripe doesn't move money on UK bank holidays. If a payout would have landed on a holiday, it lands on the next working day. Long weekends can mean a Tuesday payout covers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at once.
Where to see it
From your dashboard, open Settings → Payments and click Open Stripe dashboard. The Payouts page in Stripe shows every transfer, the cut-off it covered, and which orders are still pending.
